The Fire Axe is a rare melee Weapon that can be occasionally found while scavenging. It is more commonly acquired via purchase from the Axe Salesman for 6 Food at Trader Camps.
The Fire axe has decent power and knockback for a high cooldown. It can hit an extra target 50% of the time. If a character with higher Strength / Fitness uses the Fire Axe it is better than a number of alternatives. For 6 food it is the cheapest weapon (of this tier) of all four melee weapon salesmen and can sometimes be worth the purchase if the party has no higher power weapons available.
