Flight or Flip is a common event.

Event Text

[Character] makes mistakes while scouting a town, and gets cornered by a large group of zombies while unarmed.

He/She is trapped in an alley. At the end of the alley is some heavy garbage and a large fence.

Throw Garbage

[Character] bowls several zombies over by throwing garbage cans. They escape and get a great workout at the same time.

Character] COMPLETELY flips out and starts flinging stuff at zombies followed by stomping on them. It's both effective and very therapeutic for [Character].

  • 'non-fatal' indicates that the damage taken will only apply if the character's HP is above 1.
  • The following comment is found above the 'Throw Garbage' option in the source code: "Doesn't check Strength for high/low, just does a roll no matter what. Advantage: Can use it to go from 5 to 6 str. Disadvantage: Pointless and dangerous at 6."
    • What this means is that the 'Parkour' option can automatically succeed if the character's fitness is above 4, automatically fail if below 2, and will roll to check if it succeeds if it lies between the two.
    • The Garbage throwing option always rolls to check if the player succeeds regardless of the Strength value, although a higher strength value will increase odds of success (see Stats).
  • Pets will automatically succeed at the Parkour option, gaining morale in the process.
  • Pets will automatically fail at the throwing garbage option, due to lack of thumbs. They take the damage.
